Simon Wall MRIAI, Westport Town Architect will give an illustrated 40min talk on Westport’s holistic community approach to Town Planning and Heritage over the past two decades, in the towns newly completed Town Hall Theatre overlooking the Octagon.  The theatre, a €3M civic facility, was delivered for the town by a local community investment company. This positive illustrated talk will inspire and engage with communities and professionals alike who are interested in the successful urban regeneration of rural Irish towns.

The talk will be followed by an optional 1.5 hour walking tour of the town and harbour area. Participants can attend either or both Talk and Walk.
